The TravelMate 7730 is a complete communication instrument that allows professional users to seamlessly switch from different connectivity options -The latest N wireless card enhanced by Acer SignalUp™ with InviLink™ Nplify™ wireless technology offers the fastest wireless speeds available today, WPAN connection with the optional built-in Bluetooth 2.0 module or wired LAN connection trough the embedded Gigabit Ethernet card.

The Acer Bio-Protection fingerprint solution comes with the Travelmate 7730 increases network and data security by verifying an individual's true identity. Integrated with Acer Empowering Technology, the Acer Bio-Protection fingerprint solution uses convenient finger-swipe security in place of passwords to safeguard valuable notebook assets and data integrity. The Travelmate 7730 provides seamlessly protection for data stored in the Hard disk by allowing set an HDD password to prevent data intrusion even if the hard disk is removed from the notebook, for total peace of mind. Plus, a Kensington lock slot bundled with Travelmate 7730 deters theft by letting the user secure the notebook to a permanent object.
