  • Acer has integrated a state-of-the-art security solution known as Trusted Platform Module (TPM). TPM is a notebook embedded security solution that reduces security risks and increases reliability by providing secure generation and management of personal cryptographic keys and data. In addition, the TravelMate 6593 is also featuring a fingerprint reader with Pre-Boot Authentication to approve system or data access only by unique personal biometric characteristics.

  • The TravelMate 6593 provides excellent functional expandability through the Acer ezDock II/II+, Acer’s bottom-based docking solution that perfectly integrates with existing and next-generation peripherals ensuring maximum efficiency and flexibility. The TravelMate 6593 is a complete communication instrument that allows professional users to seamlessly switch from different connectivity options: wireless connection 802.11 a/g/n, WPAN connection with built-in Bluetooth 2.0 module and wired LAN connection with the Gigabit Ethernet card and the integrated modem. For real-time face-to-face video conferencing, Acer has equipped the TravelMate 6593 with the Acer Crystal Eye webcam. Additional flexibility and mobility is given since the TravelMate 6593 comes with an integrated Media-bay to facilitate options like a 2nd hard disk drive for easy enlargement of the disk space or a 2nd battery pack to increase independent work time.
